How IFTA Works in Kansas

The International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) simplifies quarterly fuel tax reporting for motor carriers who operate across state or provincial lines. Instead of filing with each jurisdiction separately, Kansas-based carriers can file one quarterly IFTA return through the Kansas Department of Revenue (KDOR).
